04/23: "Doin It" Beat Originally for Biggie
The latest issue of Scratch Magazine features an interview with Rashad Smith who says that the beat for "Doin It" by LL Cool J was actually created from an idea that Biggie had. But, he ended up selling it to LL Cool J. What appears to be
his official MySpace has a scan of the page of the magazine. He also talks about "Can't You See".
