04/12: Biggie Named MTV's 3rd Greatest MC of All Time
Biggie was named #3 on
MTV.com's The Greatest MCs of All Time. They haven't posted his page, yet, but he finished ahead of LL Cool J, Eminem, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Nas and Rakim. Looking at the pictures around the site, the people who have been mentioned and the people mentioned as honorable mentions, you can reasonably guess that Jay-Z and 2Pac round out the top 2 in whatever order. That's a little surprising considering that when they first came out with their
Top 10 Hip Hop Albums of All Time, Biggie had 2 and 2Pac had none, so they went back and let 2Pac have 1 and took one of Biggie's off. But, I guess greatest albums doesn't equal greatest MC...
