03/27: Diddy/Snoop Tour Cancels U.K. Dates
From
SFGate.com:
Snoop Dogg and Sean "Diddy" Combs were forced to scrap a tour of Britain after authorities denied Dogg a visa, according to a statement Tuesday. ...
"With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has ran out and it is too late reconfigure the show," the statement said.
Here's what
Diddy had to say:
"Snoop had (already) received the proper papers (to allow him to enter the UK) - it was the reason we decided to go ahead with the concerts - so when we heard he'd been denied we were extremely surprised," Puff told us. "Especially as the concept of this tour is about bringing people together and stopping violence." ...
"I was flying in Elephant Man, Cassie and Fat Joe. I wish the government had changed their minds," he said, before assuring fans this isn't the last they've heard of the 'One Love Peace' tour.
