In May, she talked about the collaboration on her MySpace blog. "Red Cafe who is an amazing hip-hop artist just featured on one of the tracks on the album "Living Dream"!!," she wrote. "I couldn't stop listening to his verse all day yesterday when I got the finished version! I drove up to my parents house this morning because I'm running errands and I have it on repeat the whole time I was driving!"
AsTheWorldSpins has a video interview with Red Cafe from Daddy's House, Bad Boy's recording studios. He talks about signing with Bad Boy, who might appear on his album and more. He says he's working on a new single called "Loco."
Talking to MTV News for Mixtape Daily, Red Cafe and Diddy discussed the "Hottest in the Hood.com: Volume One: Welcome to Bad Boy" mixtape. Diddy also briefly discussed the business arrangement with Akon that allowed Red to sign to Bad Boy, as well as Konvict Muzik.
According to Red Cafe's Twitter, the video for "Hottest in the Hood" is now on MTV Jams and is showing on the channel today every half hour (behind the scenes video).
