Toward the end of July, BWATT Magazine released its second issue. Though it isn't recent, I didn't want it to slip by without mention. Cassie was interviewed and is featured on the cover and in a photo spread. You can view the issue below and check out a behind the scenes clip from her shoot, released a few months ago, on Vimeo.
As a warning, the magazine does feature nudity (not of Cassie, but of other photographed models).
In a letter to fans posted today, Cassie updated fans on the status of her project. Though, no date was provided for her still in the works sophomore album, she did reveal that she is also working on a mixtape at the same time. It will be titled "Rock-A-Bye Baby."
In addition, she mentioned that she collaborated with will.i.am on "another record" today and has also been working with Ester Dean.
Lucky Magazine has released behind the scenes footage from their photo shoot with Cassie for their Music & Fashion issue. In the clip, she mentions that she has been working with Nicki Minaj and would like to collaborate with Azealia Banks.
Coincidentally, Bad Boy producer Rob Holladay just tweeted that Diddy had just played him "the craziest record from Da Internz," saying that the duo was "dope."
Cassie is among the artists set to appear on Far East Movement's new album, "Dirty Bass." It has already been released in Australia and is set for release in the U.S. on June 11. For now, you can listen to a preview on the iTunes Australia store.
Idolator.com has the premiere of new music video for the brand new R3hab remix of Cassie's "King of Hearts." It was shot in London and Paris. According to the article, shooting in Paris was "overseen" by Diddy. Meanwhile, Capricorn Clark did the same in London. The music video was directed by Julien Bachelet. Watch below.
Black Melody producer Richard X has released a video remix of Cassie's "King of Hearts" single. Previously, Richard X has produced for TLC, Kylie Minogue, Ciara, M.I.A. and more.
On today's episode of BET's "106 & Park," Cassie performed "King of Hearts," along with four dancers. She concluded the performance with a brief dance number set to the Kanye West remix of the song.
After the performance, she spoke with host Rocsi. The main newsworthy item Cassie mentioned was that she is still working on her album and is looking for more songs. She mentioned this in response to being asked when her album would come out and she did not provide a date or timeline. The second single is coming soon.
