It recently came to light that the Revolt brand, under which Diddy announced a TV network earlier this year, would also extend into films. If you follow Diddy on Twitter, you know that he's been promoting the new film "Lawless," starring Shia Laboeuf, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Jessica Chastain.
Update:Complex has updated their story and removed half of the tracks that were mentioned in the original. But, they still note that MGK played them 10 songs. I have reached out to the author of the article for comment.
Complex has a preview of Machine Gun Kelly's upcoming album, "Lace Up," based on 10 songs played for them by MGK himself. The tracks revealed include:
Save Me featuring Avenged Sevenfold
What I Do featuring Bun B
Lace Up featuring Lil' Jon
Stereo featuring The Kickdrums
All We Have featuring Anna Yvette
See My Tears
Demons featuring DMX
Edge of Destruction featuring Tech N9ne and Twista
Running featuring Planet VI
End of the Road featuring Matt Musto
"Save Me" is said to be the album's intro, a track that MGK has talked about previously, telling Rap-Up.com that it would feature "one of the greatest lead vocalists I've ever heard in my life" from "probably one of the greatest metal groups."
"['End of the Road'] will supposedly conclude the album," writes Complex's Eric Diep. It was self produced by MGK. The other songs that had not previously been revealed include "All We Have" and "Running." The rapper said in June that the set would feature a collaboration with Twista and Tech N9ne, but until now, we did not know the title of the track, which is "Edge of Destruction."
Today, she released a video announcing the move herself. Interspersed with footage of her performing covers and her original "B-e-a-utiful," the clip features Nicole talking alongside Diddy, Havre Pierre and her manager, Johnny Wright.
Some long term Bad Boy fans may remember Wright from his appearances on the "Making the Band" series and his management of Danity Kane. He has also managed Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, 'NSync and the Jonas Brothers among many other acts.
If you missed it on pay-per-view in April, an hour long WrestleMania 28 is coming to NBC on Saturday at 10 PM ET. According to Diddy, both he and Machine Gun Kelly will be featured. Watch the promo below featuring "Invincible."
Driicky Graham has released the remix to "Snap Backs & Tattoos" and it features French Montana alongside Roscoe Dash and Ca$h Out. You can check out the single cover and listen below. You can buy the song on iTunes.
In June, Diddy tweeted that singer Megan Nicole was now part of the Bad Boy family. Today, it was officially announced via press release that the singer had signed to Bad Boy Records.
"Megan Nicole is a complete package that I am extremely excited to add to the Bad Boy roster," Diddy says in the release. "She is a talented singer, songwriter, musician, and entertainer. Megan Nicole is a perfect fit for the new future at Bad Boy."
"Megan is a great person, amazing artist, and an enormous talent all around," said Bad Boy President Harve Pierre. "She has done an incredible job on building a solid fan base and we are here to enhance that and ensure her dreams come true. Welcome home, Megan Nicole."
"I just feel real good about moving on with our relationship," he told MTV's Rob Markman then. "Me and son, we gonna get together in Paris. I'm in Paris right now. He's gonna come out here in a couple weeks and we're gonna sit at a roundtable, just as men. Just to sit down and break bread. It's been over 15 years I've known that dude."
Those feelings appear to have been short lived. According to HOT 97's Miss Info, Shyne called her to express dissatisfaction with Diddy and to release a diss track, "You're Welcome."
The song was recorded "a while ago," but he decided to release it now because he believes that Diddy failed to follow through on assurances that were made in conversations that they had. Namely, that the Bad Boy CEO would aide Shyne in his efforts to attain a United States Visa.
DJ Khaled was on Monday's episode of BET's "106 & Park" in support of his new album, "Kiss the Ring." French Montana stopped by in support. Watch a clip featuring Montana below and the full episode farther down.
Machine Gun Kelly has been named to the MTV Jams Fab 5 of 2012. Check out the interview below, where he discusses his name, a run-in with a fan that looked different from their Twitter picture and more.

Machine Gun Kelly is the MTV Push Artist of the Week. In honor of that, they published some video from an interview with MGK, where he discusses raging, making music and Cleveland. Watch the clips below.
What tracks will be included? MGK has said that the mixtape will feature tracks from him and other EST affiliated artists, including tracks that were never released officially on a mixtape before. This includes:
"Her Song" by Machine Gun Kelly

"Paid" by Dub-O
"Get Laced" by Machine Gun Kelly
"MayHAM" by Machine Gun Kelly and Dub-O
Toward the end of July, BWATT Magazine released its second issue. Though it isn't recent, I didn't want it to slip by without mention. Cassie was interviewed and is featured on the cover and in a photo spread. You can view the issue below and check out a behind the scenes clip from her shoot, released a few months ago, on Vimeo.
As a warning, the magazine does feature nudity (not of Cassie, but of other photographed models).
At the time, he said that the mixtape would feature songs that had previously been put out in some capacity, but never officially released. Today, he named a couple of these songs. Included on the mixtape will be his "Get Laced" and "MayHAM," a collaboration between MGK and Dub-O.
Last month, Machine Gun Kelly asked fans to vote to determine what t-shirt would be included in the "Lace Up" album bundle. The results are in and the winner is the black shirt with "Live Like It's Your Dyin' Day" on it. The voting totals on his Facebook page show a blowout, as that shirt won over the white tic-tac-toe design, 1,323 to 169.
E! Online and the New York Post's Page Six are both reporting, according to sources, that producers of FOX's "American Idol" have contacted Diddy to see how interested he might be in joining the show as a judge.
Here are Bad Boy's positions on the most recent Billboard U.S. album and single charts, released today. French Montana follows last week's gains with more, reaching a new high on the Hot 100 and most other charts. The Notorious B.I.G. and Machine Gun Kelly also appear in new places.
Top R&B/Hip-Hop Catalog Albums

Machine Gun Kelly revealed some of the tracks that will be featured on his "Lace Up" album this evening, during his scheduled USTREAM appearance.
The song that features DMX is called "Demons," which he describes as "dark... very, very MGK when I was in a very dark place." In addition, he says that "End of the Road" and "Stereo," two previously released songs, made the cut.
On USTREAM this evening, Machine Gun Kelly announced that a surprise mixtape would be released on Monday. He stressed that the mixtape was not an MGK mixtape, but an EST mixtape for the fans, released in conjunction with DJ Xplosive and DJ E-V.
He mentioned that the mixtape will feature new music from both MGK and Dubo. Specifically he mentioned songs called "Her Song" and "Halo" and a song by Dubo titled "Paid." In addition, he said that the mixtape will feature songs that you may have heard, but have never been officially released.
On USTREAM this evening, Machine Gun Kelly announced a 6 date U.S. college tour (a list of dates was previously posted by MGK collaborator Slim Gudz), the Disorderly Conduct Tour, which will be followed by the Raging Abroad Tour, which will take the rapper to Europe from mid-September through early-October.
At the start of his music video for "Brinks Truck", Red Cafe teased two new songs: a collaboration with Young Jeezy, "Champagne for the Pain" and "Gucci Everything." The visual simply said that both are "coming soon." Watch for the teasers at the start and end of the clip below.
Power 105.1's DJ Clue, a veteran hip-hop DJ and collaborator with Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Fabolous and others, released a new mixtape today, "Desert Storm: The Takeover."
The mixtape features the premiere of "Hold On," a new song from Machine Gun Kelly featuring Young Jeezy. While DJ Clue is a well respected, influential DJ that many artists send music to, to premiere, it is unclear if this release was expected by Bad Boy or Machine Gun Kelly.
While we have to cover this story, since it is news, given the fact that Machine Gun Kelly, nor Young Jeezy, or anyone directly affiliated with them, has mentioned it yet, we will not be providing a link to the song or allowing links in the comments. When I hear more, we'll have an update here at Bad Boy Blog.
Edit: Updated the post to reflect that we will wait to link (or allow links) to anything until I receive some official confirmation.
In an interview with Rap-Up.com, Machine Gun Kelly revealed two additional collaborations for "Lace Up," his upcoming debut album.
"The song me and Lil' Jon got is called 'Lace Up,'" he said. "I've never made a song called 'Lace Up." I was like, 'f*** it, we've got to do one.' When Lil' Jon came into the studio to do it, I was like 'you're not getting on the song to be the anthem of my movement if you don't truly understand this."
To educate him on the meaning of "Lace Up," MGK showed Lil' Jon tour footage, fan tattoo photos and messages from fans.
He would not put a name to the other collaborator, wanting it to be a surprise, but said that it was "one of the greatest lead vocalists I've ever heard in my life" from "probably one of the greatest metal groups."
In addition, he discussed his relationship with Diddy and his dream collaboration: Eminem, who he has yet to meet. Watch below.
"Your entire order will ship on or about October 5, 2012."
A release date for the album has not yet been announced and this date should be taken with a grain of salt. But, since it is on his official website and official store, where he is taking pre-orders, it is worth noting.
The "Lace Up Bundle" includes the deluxe edition of the CD alongside a t-shirt, an 8-10 photo, a bracelet to get first come first serve meet and greet access at certain events, an exclusive ticket code for early access to October tour dates and two bonuses for fans who ordered his "Half Naked & Almost Famous" EP bundle: a 10% discount and a limited edition key chain. The cost of the bundle is $48.
The "MGK Gold Pack" bundle includes a standard edition of the album, an exclusive t-shirt and both of the bonuses for people who ordered his "Half Naked & Almost Famous" EP bundle. The cost is $33.
Updating a previous story, I have received word from a source at Bad Boy that the "Lace Up" album release date announcement on USTREAM has been postponed. No new date or time has been announced, but they said that an update would be released soon. As I write, the countdown on his Facebook page remains online.
